2021 International Proficiency Testing Scheme (PTS) for Mycoplasma gallisepticum/synoviae DNA detection in medium

Mycoplasma gallisepticum (Mg) and Mycoplasma synoviae (Ms) infections are important causes of disease and/or economic damage for the poultry industry. Therefore, diagnostic tool are used to detect Mycoplasma infections. Besides serology, detection of the Mycoplasma DNA by PCR is used worldwide. 2021 International Mycoplasma DNA detection proficiency testing scheme (PTS or ring trial) that was organized by the the PST team of Royal GD, Deventer the Netherlands. This PTS is accredited according to the international standard ISO 17043:2010 for providers of proficiency testing schemes.

Our results show as satisfactory in the 2021 International Mycoplasma DNA detection PT assessments.
